DISEASES of the CHEST

Abstract

Recent advances in bronchography have occurred as a result of new bronchographic media and technique. These advances have improved the quality of bronchography to such an extent that small bronchial lesions are more readily seen. A method of correlating these bronchographic defects with their histological appearance has increased our knowledge of the ignificance of these defects. The first part of this paper will discuss the recent advances in bronchographic media and technique and the second portion will describe the finer bronchographic defects and their histological appearance.
